SCHEDULE:
6-7:30am: Event Support team and Competition Management team arrive early Saturday morning – volunteers who are able to be in the area early Saturday morning should check in with the Volunteer Leads and assist where assigned, e.g. unload the truck, supplement needed supplies, set up competition and committee spaces, greet and help any contracted services be ready.
7:45 AM: Information Desk opens to assist guests, answer competition questions; facilitate instructor package pickup, Instructors Club and Leadership Program member sign in
8:00 AM: Souvenir and Book Sales open to Masters, Instructors, and volunteers only
8:15 AM: Meetings for Arbitrators, Judges, Scorekeepers/Timekeepers (room TBA)
8:30 AM: Competition Area doors open to spectators; Souvenir and Book Sales open to all
9 AM: Welcome, Invocation, World Tang Soo Do Association Opening, Masters Recognition,
Championship Oath followed by first set of divisions. Please allow time to get into the building and have all that you need to participate in place. Competition scheduled as follows:
Dan (Black Belt) Competition
Tigers/Dragons, and Special Needs (Gup and Dan students) individual competition
Competition continues with the following Gup (Color Belt) divisions: Seniors; Youth; Adult
followed by Grand Champion and Division Champion Award presentations.
Grand Champion and Division Champion Awards for individual form, sparring, and weapons competition - Dan, Gup, and Special Needs - will be presented once all divisions have been completed.
End of day: Region 8 Scholarship Award presentations and closing
