US National Championship 2025

Championship Information

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

*Prices increase 50 days before the competition
*There is no on-site registration.
*Absolutely no applications will be accepted after July 10, 2025

RULES:

Championship will follow the rules of the WTSDA. See the 2022 WTSDA Championship Handbook below for more details. Rule books are available from WTSDA Headquarters at a cost of $8.00.

EMPTY HAND AND WEAPONS HYUNG:

You may perform the hyung needed to earn your present rank or acquire your next rank.
A list of permitted hyung can be found on pages 17 and 18 of the 2022 WTSDA Championship Handbook

SPARRING:

Please remember to bring all of your sparring gear for the dae ryun. This includes head gear, mouthpiece, hand and foot gear and groin cup (males). All WTSDA competition rules are in effect.

UNIFORMS:

Only an official WTSDA dobohk and belt may be worn. Regulation patches and trim are required.

ELIGIBILITY:

All competitors must be currently registered with the World Tang Soo Do Association and must wear the official WTSDA white dobohk
Sah Dan candidates are ineligible to compete in any area of competition

TINY TIGERS / LITTLE DRAGONS:
Elidgibility:

Have officially enrolled in a Tiny Tiger/Little Dragon program at their studio (not WTSDA 10th Gup or above)
Have submitted a membership form to WTSDA
If you have any questions, please ask your instructor. All Tiny Tigers/Little Dragons will receive a participation medal.

ENTRANCE WRIST-BANDS:

All contestants and spectators MUST have a wristband to enter premises .
Participants can request wristbands with no charge.
Additional spectator wristbands can be obtained at Hospitality suite during the Championship at no cost.
Non-competing children 5 years of age and under may enter without entry wristbands.
